Former Arsenal player now a Tottenham sensation caught sneaking into Mikel Arteta’s office in deleted viral video
A former Tottenham player, David Bentley, recently gained attention after entering Mikel Arteta’s office at the Emirates Stadium to celebrate Tottenham’s Europa League victory. Bentley, known for his playful antics, couldn’t resist poking fun at Arsenal’s lack of trophies. He participated in a charity soccer match at the Emirates, playing alongside Callum Best and Jeremy Lynch.
Other participants included social media influencers, YouTubers, and reality TV stars. Bentley, famous for a previous prank on Tottenham’s former manager Harry Redknapp, was up to his old tricks again. He enlisted two former Britain’s Got Talent contestants, Woody and Kleiny, to help him sneak into Arteta’s office.
Once inside, Bentley humorously thanked Arteta for “leaving a beer” and grabbed two bottles of Camden Hells beer from the fridge, a sponsor of Arsenal. He then performed a celebratory dance with “Winners 2025” written on his Tottenham shirt, singing a song beloved by Spurs fans.
Bentley’s actions were particularly provocative given his background with Arsenal. He was part of Arsenal’s academy but only played nine senior games before joining Blackburn Rovers and eventually Tottenham in 2008. Despite initial promise, his career at Tottenham was marred by injuries.
The video of Bentley’s stunt was shared by Woody and Kleiny on social media but was later removed upon request, though not before being widely circulated by others. The duo explained on Instagram that they were asked to take down the footage.
