Newcastle United has joined the race to sign Celtic’s standout midfielder Matt O’Riley, sending a scout to observe his performance during the Scottish Premiership Trophy Day victory over St Mirren. The 23-year-old Danish international caught attention by scoring in the match and contributing significantly throughout the season with 19 goals and 18 assists.

West Ham United is currently leading the chase for O’Riley, but Brighton and Atletico Madrid are also showing strong interest. In fact, Atletico had previously made an offer in January that was rejected by Celtic.
